The Hide and Hatch difference
The leather goods industry is saturated with confusing marketing terms designed to convince you that what you’re getting is better than it really is. Hide and Hatch is NOT a high-volume, low-effort online seller that outsources production overseas or cuts corners with materials and processes.
With us, you will always know the which tannery / brand produced your leather. We use solid brass and stainless steel hardware for all high stress fasteners, premium nylon and linen thread for stitching, and the same ultra-strong European reinforcing materials used by the most famous luxury leather brands. Honest and true consideration goes into the selection of all our raw materials and processes to ensure your item is superior, inside and out. With fully bespoke builds, we will provide as much or as little guidance as you desire; but you will decide

Occasionally, we have completed items available for sale; and it’s as easy as click-and-pay. In stock items avoid the working lead time but will obviously only be available as-is with no further customization possible.

If you see something that you absolutely love, simply let us know; and we’ll make it just for you. Depending on the item, you usually can make special requests for individualization with sizing, materials, and colors.
