Medium Dog Collar (Non-load-bearing) - Starting price $80

$80.00

If your dog needs something nice to hold some name tags while working around the farm (and serve as a backup restraint tool for occasional trips to the vet), we can create something that is light-duty and unobtrusive. These collars are still made from top notch materials, but when we know that it’s not holding back a strong puller on regular walks around the neighborhood, we have a little more leeway in the build requirements. (Let us know the details of our good boy / girl, and we can make sure you get something that works for you.) If you need a stronger collar to use as a restraint tool during walks or training, please select our “Working Dog / Large Dog” collar instead.

Standard Details (included for $80, photo may show extra cost options):

  • Option of leather from Hermann Oak, Wickett & Craig, Horween, and others

  • Unlined and unstitched

  • Width of 0.75 to 1.25 inch

  • Standard burnished edges

  • Includes D-ring

  • Standard buckle choice (nickel-plated, brass-plated, stainless steel, solid brass)

  • Finishing top coat applied (available on veg-tan leather only)

Extra cost options:

  • Lined with veg-tan leather and sewn with UV-resistant poly thread or riveted (lining increases strength but adds weight / thickness): +$25

  • Lined with veg-tan leather and fully hand sewn saddle stitch with UV-resistant poly thread (nylon and linen available upon request): +$45

  • Add stretch- and tear-resistant Velodon reinforcement (lined collars only): +$5

  • Semi-gloss edge finishing (available on veg-tan leather only): +$10

  • Conchos, crystals, spots, and other embellishments: price varies (typically $5-$10)

  • Specialty buckle: price varies (typically $10-$20+)
