This is a single-layer vegetable-tanned leash. So, while it’s still strong, it’s also best for smaller dogs or those that aren’t “pullers”. Note that in order to ensure sufficient strength and prevent stretching, this style leash cannot be extremely narrow / thin. It will start out more “stiff” and require some use to break in before becoming more flexible. (Let us know the details of our good boy / girl, and we can make sure you get something that works for you.)
